Egmont Kollegiets’s motto is that it should be more than just a place to live. In the heart of Østerbro hides a small community behind the red brick walls, where doors stand open along the hallways, laughter flows, and the sense of togetherness is always close by. The residents of the dormitory meet for everything from Thursday cafés with special themes, cooking clubs, and parties with friends in the ‘Slyngelstue’, to a sweaty workout in the AC (Activity Center) or a visit to the ‘FællesSkab’ to borrow costumes for the next party. No two days are alike at Egmont Kollegiet – with so many different residents, traditions, activities, and spaces, there’s always a new Egmontian to meet or a new experience to be had.
But it can also feel a bit like a jungle at first – both because the college is large and because something is always happening somewhere. Luckily, it doesn’t take long before you find your way to both the laundry room and the lounge.
